Got books for Christmas... The guardian by nicholas Sparks and The man who ate 747. Thanks to Col!

Now I am onto my third book for the year entitle "The devil wears prada" by Lauren Weisberger.



It's really a book full of insights into the fashion backstage scene and the modern boss from hell... Still halfway as of the present but do enjoyed the parts I've read so far. Thanks for lending me the book, Ciarits...

It's been awhile since my last entry. Spent my whole day of Friday going to Alabang and checking out the site (PCX-Alabang) which opened late December (or was it early jan!?). We only did the design concept... So far, it was not that bad considering the project was budgeted and a lot of changes made due to numerous reasons. Will try to post some pics soon.

...Weekend

Spent my saturady night at home instead of the planned night out with my college friends... Sorry jill! (wah!) Anyway, I am sure that there would still be next time (hopefully not that far though!)...

Just got news that a batch mate of mine just got married (a guy this time...) and he got his ex-girlfriend as one of the entourage (at least it was an amicable parting and they remain friends...). It seems that January is a marrying month as well as December of last year. I guess marriage is indeed in the air...or is it just that we have reach the point of the 'marrying age'? Another phase to tread into...a more mature and responsible one at that.

...and since there's seems to be no guy worth dragging into the altar within my sight. I guess I just have to stack up on wedding/ bridal shower gifts for the friends that seem to be marrying one after the other (hehe!).

Extra days in Manila

Went to the airport last January 05,2004 to see my grandparents off to U.S. and since they had a big group, their companions (who were in charge of safekeeping their important documents such as the passport) lost their passports (i still can't figure out how they lost such thing as passports!?) and my grandparents had to stay extra days while their companions look for the passports. Turns out that their passport was in one of the suitcase brought back to U.S. and they have to send it through dhl which means that we have to wait a few more days and they get to stay here for a few more days as well...

Had an emergency this morning... My grandpa was not feeling well and we had to rush him to the hospital. Good thing it was just a slight case and it was in connection to a medicine he took that morning... (phew!) I was scared a moment then... Thats it for now!

We have a reunion on Saturday...heheh! I can't wait... Long time since we've seen those people.

Yesterday, met up with Hannah and went to Rockwell to take a stroll. Went to Crepes de Suzette for merienda and went to greenhills to continue window shopping...

Happy new year to all of you!!!

It's my mom's birthday as well... Had a family lunch affair at Yam cha to celebrate the New Year. Just got the pics today and will have them scan and post as soon as I can.

After the lunch with the family...Watched 'Bridal Shower' at Robinsons Galleria. It reminded me of a sex and the city tagalog type of a movie. Witty, sexy and funny...naks! feeling movie critic daw ako eh noh!?

That's it for now... =) I'm kind of groggy eh...Fatigue ata with all the celebration and all the various food consumed these past few days...I'm so glad to get back to the normalcy of everyday life again...Bad for the heart and figure ang december...sigh*
