Sanafir is Arabic for 'meeting place', and meet we did to relieve the stresses of child rearing and work. Every get together is always something to look forward to but more so since it was a long time since our las play date took place. It was really busy between all the moms.
Tapas and dips are quite good. We actually ordered 6 whole sets of trios: Calamari, Halibut, Beef, Lamb and Seafood. We ordered 2 more entrees aside from the Trios and every dish looks so good. I just love how they plate everything. The facade however doesn't look that impressive from outside, if it weren't for the fact that we were eating here, you would have missed the place for how regular it looks from outside. The interior however is another matter, it was dim yet intimate, it has a high ceiling that maximizes is storage of wines with a long ladder leaning toward one wall when not in use. They also have a bar wherein you can see a real live chef in action plating all the tapa being plated. The wait staff looks straight out of a fashion magazine dressed in sexy black, short dresses with high heels.
