Archaeologist 101 Jr.

One of the best things about having mommy friends especially living in different places with the same kids age group is that when Summer comes, we unite by getting the best of activities from different location to keep the kids occupied and to meet up and catch up as well. The waiting is more fun and the kids go into the program more excited with the knowledge that they will be seeing their friends there. It was a win-win situation.

This first week of Summer vacation. We got Kimi into the Young Archaeologist Summer Program. It was a bit far from us but with just one session, it was okay for me to drive all the way there, for her to experience it together with several of her friends...

They are taught about nature and treasures around us in a real archaeological dig in Steveston.

* Sweaty but happy :)

Next week, there will be more summer activities. I can't wait for Kimi and Kenzo to explore different programs and find something that will really peak their interest.
