My Luxebox Fall Box came a day earlier than Glossybox's August... 

Recap: From last month's box, I was able to make use of the Eucerin hand cream for the remainder of Summer. The nail polish, I was able to use once. The Pedix Rescue Balm was used once as well. The Dove Body Wash is the next in line once our body wash rans out.

Loose Button Luxe Box: Fall 2012

Loose Button decided to change their subscriptions from a monthly one to every 3 months. I don't mind that fact especially since it will give them more time to prepare and make each box better than trying to do it monthly plus the fact that I also got Glossybox at a monthly subscription

The prices of the full size are not listed in this menu card anymore. I would love to see the prices on it just to have an inkling how much the products I got estimates. They did put some logos with categories as follows: Rare sample, Product Launch, Exclusive Sample, and Full Size Product.

Vichy- Proeven Daily Dark Spot Corrector

I got 5 sachet at 1.5ml each. I actually bought the full size before this samples and I think they got this product right. I can actually bring these when I travel- Perfect!

Eyeko- Skinny Liquid Eyeliner

I was asking my brother to look for these and I was surprised to find this in my box as well. I am running out of eyeliner and they read my mind. Full Size Product and an Exclusive Product. No need to purchase :)- Happy.

Vera Wang- Lovestruck

I got the 4ml test tube like bottle that is longer than the normal sample size. A Product Launch. I don't like to receive perfumes but so far the ones I do get, I like the smell...

Calvin Klein- Beauty

I got the normal sample size of 1.2ml. I love the smell of this one

Loose Button- Exfoliating Pad

A Full Size and Exclusive Sample of course. Will try them but I think they are for the body rather than the face.

China Glaze- Safari (Fall Collection) Nail Lacquer

I got a deep dark red this time: Prey Tell. A Full Size. I don't know if I like it but will definitely try them on my toes.

Moroccanoil- Luminous Hairspray

I heard raves about this product from mommy friend, Glenda. I am excited to try them. Listed as a rare sample but I heard them sent out before from another beauty box. I love them anyway so I am not complaining.

I love the box a lot. Almost everything is something I would love but has been contemplating on getting so... THANK YOU LUXE BOX... Keep it up!

Glossybox: July 2012

It was later than July as usual.

I received my July box on the 7th of August this month. Glossybox is one of the beauty boxes available in Canada and costs $15/ month. I am receiving this box for the second time and so far I like the selection I got from last month.

Recap: So far, I am quite happy with the Biore 4 in 1 Revitalizing Cleanser I got last June and have been using them regularly to clean my face. The Biore Deep Cleansing Nose Strip from last month was also used up by hubby. It was okay, nothing to be excited about. The Neutrogena Ultra Sheer Dry Touch Sunscreen is quite good as well and has been inside my bag just in case we got out with the kids (which is quite often...) not icky on the skin and I would probably purchased this once my sample is finished. The Wella professional Ocean Spritz product I used once and might use again soon but with a full size that I received, it will take a while to finish up. The Gilette Venus Embrace Razor is still in the cabinet waiting to be used next while the Olay Regenerist Wrinkle Revolutionary Complex and Cover Girl Flipstick and Bendable Lip Duo hasn't been opened up until now.

* I am doubtful of this one, I got super straight hair that I am planning to curl and this is not a product I wouldn't recommend to someone with my hair style. I recalled answering a beauty profile, so what happened here? Can this be used on straight hair as well? Let's see, maybe this might be a useful product as well

Glossybox: June 2012

I got my monthly treat once again :)

Before I decided to try on Glossybox, I have read that they usually ship late.

Despite that, I heard that they send out more full size items and decided to give them a go and purchased them via Paypal.

Glossybox used to be $12 if I am not mistaken but went up to $15. I decided to try them anyway and see if it comes with a better package. It was a nice monthly gift for myself especially that the next Luxebox I am going to receive is on August. I can decide by then if I want to terminate one of them.

* I am not sure about the color but according to the description you can blend to create different colors from one stick so I am holding judgement until I use this. I am glad for another full size and since I am on the lookout for a lipstick. I am glad to have this

*  I actually got an Olay type razor from last month's Luxebox which I am currently using. This particulat product is the razor I was using before i tried the Olay one and having this on hand is actually nice. I don't need to shell out $12++ for a new razor

I love the selection on my box. I especially love the fact that there were 4 full size items inside which costs a total of over $ 50, not including the sample sizes.

Loose Button Luxe Box: May 2012

I decided to gift myself with a beauty box subscription. It is a way to pamper and give myself a monthly treat (with a fee). I actually researched a bit about the beauty boxes available here in Canada and decided to try the Luxe Box first based on the items received by past subscribers.

I did the 3 month subscription and crossed my fingers that I will like what my box when it arrives.

What happens is that after subscribing ($12/month, $36/quarterly or $120/yearly) , you will be asked to fill up the beauty profile so that they will be able to customize a sample beauty box that would fit your needs. 

It is like getting a present monthly and what is nice is that what is inside is a bit of a surprise and will probably let you try on beauty products that you will not normally choose for yourself.

I`d say that the Cargo (full size) product in itself pays for the box and more, bonus would be if this is a great product as well.
