Summer at Steveston

It was the prefect time to go to Steveston, the hot weather has passed and it was the perfect place to push those strollers and just enjoy the view...

Sweet Girl...

I've always wanted a little girl that i can call my own and when I think of my little Kimi, I always associate her with all the nice things God has created...

That was one of the reason why I created a candy party for her baptismal party on her 5th month before we left for Canada. She is everything sweet and nice in our life that makes every day something to look forward to...

We went to Steveston last Sunday and decided to stop at a shop there for some ice cream treat and when I saw her enjoying the ice cream with the Candy Aisle logo as her background I decided to make her a candy layout for one of her digital photo page :)

What are little girls made of?
What are little girls made of?
Sugar and spice,
And all that's nice;
That's what little girls are made of.

Where's the baby?

Kimi loves holding my belly and saying hi to her baby brother... she loves hugging it and giving it a kiss...

When she saw a statue at a restaurant of a cook with a big belly... she holds the tummy and said....

"Baby?"

he he! Oops...

Stuck on you...literally

The First meeting was at the nursery.

The Second was a week and 2 days ago at dinner...

The Third one, on the 30th of July,
they were best of friends already.
Kimi can't seem to get enough of Eileen...
She is literally stuck on her...
Hugging her and teasing auntie with her version of peek a boo...

Mommy's Night Out...without baggage :)

Sometimes all it takes is a nights out to take the exhaustion off the baby routine experience and this is what happened last July 31st in celebration of Sabrina's 26th birthday.

The diaper bags were left at home with the daddies and we headed out for a night out "without" interruption... We finally managed to talk in sentences without someone having to attend to someone else throughout the night. We were finally tending only to ourselves.... It was so liberating! To get out and just eat and talk like we normally do when we were single is such a simple joy that rarely happens when you have babies that it was much more appreciated....

THANKS SABRINA

... and thanks to my network of mommies...
I am finally adjusting to Canadian mommy-hood...
