My Little Flower Girl

A trip to the Flower shops in Marine Drive near Byrne St to buy Nana's flower for her evergrowing garden.
My little Kimberline wore her new crochet'd hat crafted by Nana's creative hands and a simple dress made by her guama (mommy's mommy)....
Rows of pretty and colorful flowers to feast your eyes upon. Kimi had a grand time taking in the beauty of the flowers while being carried alternately by mama and papa.

Lunch @ Posh

We had lunch at the new Japanese Sukiyaki hot pot near our place last Saturday. It was a very tummy-filling 2 hour lunch. With trays of beefs and pork to add to the tasty soup. Yummy!

Kimi loved the tofu and was sleeping for an hour at the cozy interior of the new resto.

Rainbow Connection

This was taken outside from our balcony recently after a slight pouring. 2 rainbows, 1 on top of the other. One very clear, the other almost fading. It was the first time i saw two rainbows in a sky and it was really awesome.

08.08.08

It is the start of the Beijing Olympic. We, on the otherhand, is celebrating our 4th anniversary as a couple... :)

We went to Robson after Karl's work to stroll along Pacific Center Mall and into the Robson Street with their numerous boutiques. We ate at Tropika (Manila's Banana leaf type of restaurant). I love the Sambal clams with its mild spicy taste. And to end the great meal... The fried banana with vanilla ice cream. It was a wonderful combination of hot (banana) and cold (ice cream) and the prefect harmony of the sweetness from each ingredient....

Being able to eat dinner out with Karl is perfect already but with such a lovely meal, it was absolutely heaven! :)

BC Day: @ Maplewood Farm

August 4th was BC Day this year and it was a long weekend here at British Columbia. Karl has Monday off and decided to join his cousin to their trip to Maplewood Farm...

There were a lot of interactions with the animals inside the farm. We were able to go inside to take pictures with the goats and rabbits. There were also goose and livestocks like chickens roaming freely. At 1:15pm, there was a scheduled milking demonstration of the cow which we enjoyed.

We were able to see the horses inside the barn. They were quite big and not the same as we are used to in Manila wherein they are thinner and shorter. Maybe they are not of the same breed as well. Even the rabbits are quite big than what we are used to seeing in Manila. They also look like slippers when they are resting side by side hehe!
