First thing that comes to mind when we think of Russia are their Famous Nesting Dolls.
These are cut outs of craft paper then circles as face then markers were used to draw their faces.
The kids loved using scissors (make sure the scissor are kid-friendly). Justin especially enjoyed cutting pepe (paper) with his scissor... Cutie!

We were on our own when we visited the France event for Michaels. Foam sheets, scissors are the things needed to complete the French guy... Oui! and I just love the Crayola version of oil pastel, they comes in pentel form so kids can grip them like they would a normal marker. NO MESS! I actually brought an old clothes for Kimi to wear anticipating some mess when I read about doing a painting but... I don't need that, whew! Happy mommy :)

Who knew that Origami can be so challenging? If it's kids who is doing the origami, then it would be ;)
I just love how the foam printing inn this event. Kalen made herself a flower and Kimi made a fish. We did the drawing and they did the coloring ;)

This is the event wherein we were required to buy something. A pot for the craft which was ON SALE! YEY!
Some foam cut into mosaic sizes was done to decorate the painted vase/pot. Kimi especially loved painting the vase white. We also did an Olympic torch with the use of Colored Tissue paper and some glue dots.
* South Africa

Jungle Foam Animals. These are all cut out already and ready to be assembled :) Easy activities for kids.
Friendship bracelet was also done to imitate the South African weaving. It took a long time so we didn't finish this project.
The best part form all these is that it's FREE :)
