2013 Christmas Concert

Like every year, SFDS ends the year with a Christmas concert showcasing the kid's…talent and of course, hard work.

This year, the concert focuses on Christmas songs in different parts of the world and Kimi's class got the country, Puerto Rico with a Spanish song entitled, Alegria

…I didn't have to plan anything, it was refreshing and a bit weird to hand over all the planning to someone else but I really appreciate all the love and effort put by everyone to make sure it remained a surprise.

Intro to Gliders and Gliders 4 Passed!

For the skating lesson, we decided to continue them at Bill Copeland, Burnaby.

One of the reason is LOCATION. Killarney is quite a drive from Kimi's new school. Kalen is on the Child class while Kimi was still in the Pre School age group so they are now on different classes.

As for the TIME, I found a same time class for both Kimi and Kenzo which works well for me.

DAYS, I have an issue with though, it is 2x a week compared to Killarney's 1x a week but we made it through...

Opening the Disney Store...

Finally, there was a free day in school that was not a vacation for everyone and I saw it as a chance to get Kimi for a small fun adventure… 

I decided to let her experience being the Disney's special key holder for the day. We bought some breakfast and camped out a bit outside the Disney Store to make sure we were the first one out there.

Alexander's 6th Costume/Bowling Birthday Party

With Halloween just around the corner, birthdays near the date tend to lean toward costume party with a mix of activity such as Alexander's 6th. The party was held at Rev's Burnaby and was well attended by classmates and friends.

The cake was made by Goldilocks which explains why it looks like a cake from my childhood days back in the Philippines.

I did not purchase a costume for Kimi this year and decided to use an old one which still fits after 2 years ;-P
