Love the Google Editing add ons

Just when I started on looking into editing photo via Photoshop to make the pictures more professional or at least a bit impressive, Google did it again! They have added more effects to their editing software (Picasa + newly acquired Picnik)- Aaaw! Talk about the universe conspiring to make things easier for me... :)
he he!

This photo was taken on Studio B Buffet- The longest wait I had to go through to eat lunch! It's a good thing that the food was worth the wait :) Will try to post about the Buffet on another entry.

Way to go Google! Love love love the new additions....

A House(room) in progress

Ever since we started to live here in Burnaby, we only bought the necessary furniture that would make our home function. I haven't got the chance to accessorize out house due to more important spending like milk, diaper and travels he he!

My mom and youngest brother came here last May and we bought a bed to accommodate them but haven't done much so with the room. I really hope that I can find a good deal that looks really good for the room so as to finish it little by little.

For that guest room, I have bought only the basic browns which I hope to add splashes of color to make it look alive...

Things that are now existing are...

* I love this bed... It's a perfect one for the room
Twin bed and seating area during daytime and if there are guests that want to stay with us,
it can be pulled out to make it King size plus it has extra drawers for storage!

* Bedsheet

* Similar to this shade, we have this as blanket for summer time

* This bookshelf is a great storage

* We added 2 doors to the shelves to keep things that need not be seen in here

* Ledge that keeps the pictures in place and keeps the wall from getting too much hall from screws

* A little ledge that makes the room not so crowded but serves it function of holding the TV in place

* This is where our laptop and important paperworks are

As for the things that I hope to add (or something like it).... Please have them on sale soon!
A splash of warm colors to create a completely opposite feeling from the living/ dining area.

* A splash of color on the wall to frame the white window frame

* Simple artworks

* An interesting way to look at the time

* An interesting wall piece conversation

* Make the bed more alive with this dotted pillow

* Welcome guests with this geometric rug

U Catch Fishing @ Abbotsford

Fishing for the first time in our life. One of the good things that came out from living here in Canada is the appreciation of the outdoor. I used to think that going outs consists of just which malls to go to this time. That is life in Manila. Malls and malls and more malls...not that I am complaining because I love the malls there but, I finally got to expand my horizon here to more activities...plus I always hoped that there were more family activities and family outings both in and out of the country spent together with my parents and siblings when I was young and I wanted that for my family for moments they can treasure when they grow up.

* My fisherman...

* A Little "poso" (water pump)

* Grandpa and Kenzo

* Grabbing the fish line to make sure the fishy won't scare Kimi

* Fishermen

 * Mommy takes a picture of Kenzo from below... Worm's eye view

* Checking up on Little Brother Kenzo

* Everyone is checking on the fish, but Kimi is checking something else

* You're so cute shoti...

Fishing equipments are free as well as the bait. You only pay the fishes you catch which in our case was a 12 1/2" Trout that costs $6.50 :).
