In n Out Foods...

I love shrimps! It reminds me of my mom when I eat butterfly shrimps (this is what my dad prepares for my mom in our house) and that is what my friend, Honey, prepared for us for our dinner in her house on our 2nd day.

* Ready to steam

* Oooh la la! Yumminess with all the garlicky scent and steamed just right

Now I know why Ver kept on saying just how close Honey's shrimp is as good, if not better, than what is served in Chinese Lauriat.

For our dine out food, it is the oh so famous In n Out Burgers. I started to get curious with this burger when I read that a Philippine actress (Judy Ann Santos) craved for this burger and her hubby asked someone from U.S. to fly this all the way to Manila just so the satisfy her wifey's craving. Sweet eh!?

* Yumminess in between our hands

It was really fresh and the patties was not too thick and not too thin. I guess I now understand why they are raving about this burger. I am not much of a burger fan but I actually love they way it tastes. It was cooked on the spot after ordered. My only regret? I wasn't able to to try the milkshakes :(

Moms Day at Swiss Chalet

It is finally another Moms Day and some sort of a deja vu came over me as I entered Swiss Chalet this year. We actually had mother's day last year at this same branch... I guess you can say that Swiss Chalet is officially our favorite Mother's Day lunch place he he!

Since it is partly my day, I decided to treat myself to the sugar treat I have been craving for...

A shared plate of Tender Ribs and Chicken... with a helping of Caesar Salad

A yummy buttery corn to fill Kimi up

Little Kimi with a long flower for mommy.... Aaaaww!

I love you little one... Words can't describe how much... but I hope you do feel it...

Earl's Lougheed

It is lunch date with Sab and Kimi (the chosen baby of the day), with Sabrina at work on her first mystery shopper assignment at Earl's we really rough it up by taking the transit and doing the sharing option in order to earn some profits for that day.

It was a busy day and we had to wait in line despite the heat and all the walkling that we did prior to that because we went off the wrong stop he he!

I didn't mind the long wait since toe food were all so good...or maybe I was too hungry by then
The lunch menu?

Clam Chowder rich and creamy, full of baby clams, bacon and garden vegetables

Prawn and Scallop Linguini prawns and scallops, citrus white wine cream sauce, grape tomatoes, fresh basil, arugula, grated parmesan, toasted pine nuts

We couldn't resist ending our lunch with a sweet treat...
our choice?
Chocolate Sticky Toffee Pudding warm rich chocolate cake covered in chocolate and toffee sauce with Mario’s Gelati vanilla bean gelato
