Hakkasan Contemporary Chinese Cuisine

I've been on the lookout for a nice place to eat that comes with a good deal and chance upon one by Indulge Living. Originally Cad $75/person, it was finally reduced to Cad $29/person and when I read the reviews (Yelp, Urban Spoon, Dinehere...), I was convinced that this was a good restaurant to make the splurge on a "coupon dinner for 2". One of the things that got me to finalize the deal is that Chinese food is easier to sell to my hubby and I love the fact that it is not the "typical" chinese restaurant so I am happy on my end as well.

* My hubby loves this one, all praises for this soup
Kimi loves the fungus in this soup but doesn't like the papaya.... Go figure!

* Tender and super bitin.... wish it was a whole and not half...
besides, this is hubby's dish so I just got a bit

Seared Kobe Beef

* This is such a small portion... but tasty

* This was so so, nothing spectacular

* Good

Everything was yummy... The Rice and Chicken was so-so though.

We were also joined by some friends which made the dinner much more enjoyable :)

The location is really far from the other restaurants so you will only find it if you are searching for this address... It was worth the searching and we all agreed it was good :) A great find even :)
