One of the great things here in B.C. is that you don't need to drive long or ride a plane to find a nice place for a family weekend bonding.
Such a place is Queen Elizabeth Park. It's less than an hour drive from us and is a good place to enjoy the beauty of nature and to let the kids run around as well.
