We went for our regular grocery at Metrotown with the kids when we passed by a small set up ground floor near TnT Supermarket. There were young adults with catchy signs such as "I need a man" and thought that it might be a dating related organization.

It took a moment for me to realize that it was an event about stem cell and fighting blood cancers. What you do to get involved is to get yourself registered and swabbed for samples, they send it to a lab and you will be a part of a list of donors. A simple procedure, which might make a difference in somebody's life.
I decided to give 5 minutes of my time to take part by registering.

After getting swabbed, I was given a thank you card and on one side, some details of how stem cell has helped a mom (being Mother's Day) to overcome their fight against blood cancer.
