Tea-scapade...

My brother Eric brought a full case of pasalubong (gifts) for us when he came here last December that I had to do separate entries for them...

Thank you again for maximizing the weight of your luggage with special somethings for us here...

One of my personal indulgence after giving birth and during the cold weather here in Canada is enjoying my blooming tea and the thin waffle that my brother gave me... The waffle came from Netherland while the tea... uhmm, I lost track of it already from his gifts of different things from all over Europe... (Lucky guy!). That's the closest I can have of anything European is enjoying the presents left here. It's harder to vacation far with babies to think of... There is an invisible attachment from the moment the baby came out of your womb, and your life, just...changes.

This yummy treat I munch on when I want sugar rush that ain't candy....
* an indulgence that makes me less guilty than when I finish off chocolates

* The blooming tea.. I am not a tea lover but I am always amazed at what flower each tea transform into after pouring hot water :) An experience, everytime...

Kenzo's 1st checkup

Kenzo had his first checkup with the family doctor...

We were scheduled for the 2:30pm slot with Dr. Princeton Lim, he was also the one who did the medical requirements which was required for our residency application from before.





First of all, they did the routine checkup pf the weight, length and head circumference. Kenzo's weight is now 4.08 kg.





He looks so little lying on the patient bed waiting for the doctor.





Kenzo was well behaved during the whole checkup. He didn't cry at all as the doctor checked his eyes with an instrument as well as when he checked both of his ears and privy part.

The verdict? He was A-ok :). We scheduled 3 more meetings for the near future,one of which, is his 2nd month immunization. :( 3 pokes... Aaaw my poor baby.

Boots are made for walking...

One of my rewards for myself was buying myself a boots that would boost my post natal self and urge me to shed more weight to fit into a skinny jeans (soon!)






With boxing day sale signs filling up every store windows. I would be a saint (which I'm not) to ignore all those red marked down signs... So I came out of Geox store downtown, with a huge plastic bag and a few hundreds in credit card bill :(

I am happy to say that this boots are comfortable... And I love it! Now, the skinny jeans will be another entry once I reach my ideal weight :)

Kimi hearts Uncle Eric

Even with just a few days shared between them, Kimi felt the love from her Uncle Eric, and returns his affection...





She looks for Uncle Eric from time to time... Where's Uncle??!..then answers her own question with a "LA NA! (nowhere!)" with a cute gesture of both hands up with palms up...
