Baby diner...

Little Kimi is becoming more adventurous with her eating habits and she is not very particular when it comes to picking foods that fall to the table and just puts it into her mouth, where she thinks it really belongs... (eeew, i know!)

So K and I decided to buy her some dining accessories to help her explore her food but in a clean(er) way...

....to get those that slips from her tiny little finegers and utensils...

Meeting the Balloon Lady

Walking along the Richmond Mall on a typical Sundal, we came across the Gymboree store with a lone woman sitting on the entrance. She was making colorful balloon sculpture for little kids to take home. Kimi stood there with wonder as she transforms a simple balloon to something special... you name it and she will try to make it for you.

Kimi decided on a flower. She chose pink and blue for her balloon flower and was really excited when the colorful balloons transformed into a flower right before her eyes...

I wish I could capture the wonder in her eyes... :) the innocence, and the simple happiness... IF onlye we all look at life through the eyes of a child... Life would be much simpler.

Keeping I-(n)TOUCH

K decided to buy me an ipod touch 3rd generation without any special occassion. Aaaaaw... he claims that he knew how I wanted it that's why he decided to gave me one.I was reluctant to accept it thinking we should be saving for our next baby but when I started exploring the new gadget... It is so much easier to get in touch with my face through Facebook with this pocket-size gadget... And you can check emails and view you tube and lots more :)

My only problem with it is that it has no adobe flash player to download which I think is pretty important if you want to surf. I guess they are working on it right... I am going to cross my fingers for it :)

Thank you Hubby :)

I LOVE YOU!

Another blessing...

September 18th, 2009. A new blessing came in the form of BRANDON SEBASTIAN ANG. It was an unexpected arrival yet very much welcome. Mommy Sabrina had a quick (take note, not easy!) labor. Although the pain may be intense this time around without any epidural injected, she was able to do the delivery in such a short time.. WE ARE SO PROUD OF YOU SAB :)

Little Visitors came late afternoon for a peek at the newest addition to the family. Brandon was already opening his eyes to welcome us into the room. He was oh so tiny... I almost forgot how tiny newborns can be.... a surge of love came unexpectedly as I watched my nephew, awestruck.

I guess when Baby K comes, this same feeling would resurface. I don't need to worry that there wouldn't be enough love to give. It will just come naturally...

CONGRATULATIONS
BRIAN and SAB :)

sTORI TELLING

Yes! I am now into reading autobiography....

....but it is a light read he he! Sorry to disappoint but it is not some historical or a politcal figure but a hollywood mommy :)

I am not going to subject myself to hard core reading with all the stress I am normally having, I deserve a light read to entertain myself :)

I did find some quotable quotes that I love from the book...

...We are not defined by the family
into which we're born,
but the one we choose and create.
We are not born, we become...

***

My whole life I wanted to be normal.
Everybody knows there's no such thing as normal.
There is no black and wite definition of normal.
Normal is subjective.

Fly me to the moon...

Anything we can give you, we would...

That is how much papa and mama loves you

"Fly me to the Moon"
Frank Sinatra

Fly me to the moon
Let me play among the stars
Let me see what spring is like
On a-Jupiter and Mars
In other words, hold my hand
In other words, baby , kiss me

Fill my heart with song
And let me sing for ever more
You are all I long for
All I worship and adore
In other words, please be true
In other words, I love you

Fill my heart with song
Let me sing for ever more
You are all I long for
All I worship and adore
In other words, please be true
In other words, in other words
I love ... you

Chicken Encounter

A close encounter with the ute chickens at Edmonds City Fair

Ber Months...

While people in Canada look forward to the fall season. The start of September brings back to my memory of the long celebration of the preparation of Christmas.

I love the feeling of going to the malls in Manila with a wide selection of gltittering decorations to choose from. The rush of buying special gifts to thank all the people who touched our lives for the past years and the anticipation of the family gatherings and ending it with a firework display at out backyard.

Just being together on this special season is reason enough to celebrate. This year, we will be making a new tradition, it will be just our family with our Baby K :). It will be a smaller Christmas gathering but it will be special since we will be welcoming a new member of our family.

I am thinking of making it a BLUE CHRISTMAS THEME this year :).

A Lot of love from Venice...

I always love getting little surprises from friends back in Manila. It makes me feel that there is still connection despite the distance. I am so happy to get the plastic with a note card from our friend Vic, G and Venice.

Like a little girl, I opened the package with happiness in my eyes. There were packs of socks for little Kimi and there were even baby shirts for our little Baby K :)
Thank you Vic and G
Thank You Venice

I also hope that you and Kimi will be able to play together soon

A penny for your tooth...

Six Months into this 2nd pregnancy, I am experiencing tooth ache which I can't bear. I had to take Tylenol several times which I really wish I could avoid. I was told that I require a root canal which can;t be done because of my current situation.

There is a lot of things here that I have to get used to... The dental fee? Way too high so I have to wait for K's dental plan to push through so that we just have to pay a portion which still amounts to more than our dental fee in Manila.

The dental procedure is also different. They have a system which consists of a checkup first and then they schedule another time to do the actual procedure... As for the bill? It gets really high after everything is done because they can't just get right to the problem... :(. They had to doit STEP BY STEP.

For this recent dental encounter, I actually insisted that they do the filling right away because I can't bear the pain. I had to tolerate several local anesthesia by injection which will numb me for the opening of my tooth and filling it up temporarily. I am really scared of needle and I initially thought that it was just going to be at the most, just one needle being inserted into my tooth or if I am lucky, he would just spread the anesthesia on my gum... I guess luck wasn't on my side and it actually required 4 injections to finished off the tooth filling.

As for the end result, I got a little bit dizzy during work and I had to take Tylenol Migraine to dull off the pain courtesy of my co- worker (Whew! The wonder drug again). I even thought that I might end up having to schedule another appointment for a root canal if the pain doesn't go away the next day. Good thing though, it feels okay today.... Thank God :)

Papa... are you....?

Kimi loves her papa so much. Every morning when she wakes up, she looks at the side of the bed where her daddy lies at night and says "PAPA, ARE YOU?"

I wish she would always be this sweet and happy with us... I know that soon she will have her circle of friends and she will expand and spread her wings, but for now, I will cherish my little baby while we are still her world.

Princess Snow White... aka Kalen Ashley

Little girls love fairy tales and one of the best fairytale ever is Snow White.

That is Kalen Ashley's choice for her 3rd birthday, and Mommy Glenda and Daddy Warren made sure that every place is filled up with Disney princess party items for her special day.

I asked Princess Kalen what she wanted for her birthday and she answered with a simple SNOW WHITE. Anything Snow White? Hmmm... that is quite general so off K and I went to Walmart to search for a Snow White gift for the Disney Birthday Princess... I caught a glimpse of a costume which would be perfect for the upcoming halloween. Cross my finger, I hope it fits prefectly since it was supposed to be for Ages 3 and up... Destiny? Let's hope so....

HAPPY 3rd BIRTHDAY KALEN :)
